a. The Philosophy
The philosophy of S.E.E.S.C is to view each Synagogue and Jewish Cemetery as a national/international landmark because they were built for Eastern European Jewish communities and should be preserved.

b. The Mission
The mission of S.E.E.S.C is to make sure Eastern European Synagogues and Jewish Cemeteries are turned into safe museums and remembrance sites and are kept holy, no matter what. It is also our intention to serve as a reminder to both Eastern Europeans and tourists who visit Eastern Europe of the Jewish life that once flourished there.

c. The idea
The idea of an important project and cause was born when I started to work on my grandfathers biography. I become interested in saving the Synagogue my grandfather and his family worshipped in (in Timisoara, Romania). I realized that after presenting my story to several people, I wanted to keep my promise to myself to work to preserve Jewish synagogues and cemeteries in Eastern Europe.

d. The reason
The reason I wish to do this project is because Jewish culture and life is fading in Eastern Europe. Synagogues have few members and many are in disrepair and might have to be torn down. Jewish cemeteries are overgrown and in total disrepair.
